Writing a book is something very new to me. I have written before, but it was very different. I wrote a dissertation over the course of several years. I’m very proud of the work that helped me achieve a graduate degree, but again, this is different.

Inspiration is a funny thing. I listened to the Trench album by Twenty One Pilots for a few months, all the while trying to figure out the meaning behind the lyrics. When I found something I didn’t understand, I researched the information online. Eventually, I stumbled upon the hidden Demaorg website. I was not the first to find it, nor will I be the last.

Reading Clancy’s journals sparked something inside my brain. I made up a saying (song) and really felt like I should write it down. It did not stop there, I kept on writing.

I am not sure where this is going, but I think it could be a novel.
