It could be going better. I think this post could simply contain that single line in large print to properly express the situation. You probably want to know more, though.

The book cover is nowhere near done. I finally gave up and extended the deadline through the weekend. To top it off, I found an error in the book design text.

I am currently working on the EPUB part of the book, since the print version was complete. I tested the text flow in a desktop EPUB reader, when I noticed missing space after a period. It seemed very random. I went into InDesign, fixed it, and then checked my Word document. Turns out, there should have been a paragraph return instead of the space. Several paragraphs later, I found a whole chunk of speech that was lumped into a paragraph.

To be fair, I have not actually read the InDesign document. I thought it would format properly and flower petals would rain from the sky. – I see you shaking your head in quiet judgement of me. – So, I printed a PDF of the document, and I am currently reading/commenting/highlighting the book on my iPad.
