Sorry for the radio silence, but as the title indicates, there is a lot going on. Thankfully, it is nothing too bad, simply a lot. Very relatable situation: the millions of things we need to do each day consumes our lives. Sometimes it is difficult to swim out of this and take time to ourselves. Thankfully, a little over a week ago, I had the opportunity to get away, rest, and spend time with people that make me laugh.

As you can probably tell by the word count, I was also able to write. I am not having trouble writing at all, I am just concerned that the book is slower than the first one. There are so many new things that Edan gets to experience and that sort of thing takes a lot of explaining. It may be fine, but I am trying to be mindful of changing things up from time to time. I don’t want to be predictable or boring.

The last picture is Denver’s first snow of the year on October 10th.

It is quite a contrast from the beautiful fall colors I saw in the mountains.
