I am steadily working on editing book 1 and adding in some new things as I go along. I have not added anything major, yet. There was one mention that was quite different from before, but minor in the scope of changes I will be making.

I am quite sure my total word count will increase as I go along. I am a bit worried since it was already over 85,000. The rule of thumb for Young Adult Fiction is 80,000 on the upper end. There is usually a little leeway with Science Fiction due to the amount of world building, but I don’t want to push my luck.

I wanted to give a little excerpt today. I thought this one was sweet and very telling about my state of mind.
