I officially completed 7 days of NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). There are daily (1,667) and weekly (11,669) goals that will eventually get you to a 30-day, November achievement of 50,000 words. So far, my daily writing sessions are going well, even though my total words written on Saturday was low. Since I surpassed my goal on most days, I still met the 7 day goal.

My 7-day total was 11,762! This is so exciting and works to keep my spirits high as I keep going.
Today, I am tackling something I put off for quite some time. I set the Divine Land of Illur series in a post-apocalyptic world, but have not discussed what actually caused the societal collapse. It was also important to me that “the event” was presented very specifically. I needed it to be told as a first person account.
Hopefully, this will satisfy the reader’s curiosity as much as it has mine!
